Facilities For Hire

The Village Hall is quite long which makes it good for physical activities such as exercise and dancing.  It it is ideal for sales and craft shows and has good access for bringing things in from the car park.  It looks really great when all the tables are set up for functions.

The Community Room is almost square and although it is smaller, many people prefer it because it is more cosy and intimate.  The overhead digital projector can be connected to the user’s laptop by means of  the HDMI socket on the wall next to the power outlets.  The large screen is electrically lowered.

The room has its own sink and Craft groups love it.  There are two advantages over the large room; it is much easier to hear what people are saying—and its cheaper to hire!

Both rooms have access by means of a door and a hatch to a central kitchen which is equipped with a water boiler, refrigerator, microwave oven, twin draining sink and cupboards.

The Village Hall is equipped with a hearing loop with a ceiling mic.  Radio mics are also available on request.

A public access defibrillator is attached to the surgery wall which can be seen from the main entrance.
